Description

This lot contains six bottles of De Watère Premier Cru Brut NV Champagne, a blend of 20% Chardonnay and 80% Pinot Noir. This was stored on its lees from 29 June 2012 until disgorgement on 15th June 2017.

The blend generally consists of equal parts of two consecutive years to capture the house style, and is bottled with a dosage of around 7 grams per litre.

De Watère Champagne was founded in 2011 by Martin Konorza, with the aim of creating a high quality, extended lees aged style; no pesticides are used in the vineyard, with horses rather than machinery used in the vineyards to avoid soil compaction.
