Description

A bottle of yellow Chartreuse liqueur bearing the embossed coat of arms known as 'El Gruño' in Spain and 'Le Cabochon' in France. This was bottled in Voiron, France, we estimate in 1964 to 1966, and imported to the US by Schieffelin & Co.

This type of bottle was produced for a short period. The embossed coat of arms was prone to breakage during transport.

This Chartreuse Yellow 'Le Cabochon' sold at our online auction for £500
