Miniature Auction

Description

This lot contains four miniature bottles of Ouzo Dry Aperitif from Metaxa, the producer of the famous Greek brandy. We estimate this was bottled in the 1970s.

The labels carry royal warrants by appointment to HM the King of Greece, and HM the Late King of Serbia.

Ouzo is a dry anise-flavoured aperitif that is widely consumed in Greece and Cyprus. It is made from rectified spirits that have undergone a process of distillation and flavoring. Its taste is similar to other anise liquors like rakı, arak, pastis and sambuca.

This Metaxa Ouzo sold at our online auction for £0
