Karuizawa Noh Multi-Vintages #1 LMdW 70cl / 59.1%

A rare bottle from the Noh range – Karuizawa's Multi-Vintage combines whiskies from 1981 to 1984 using sherry butts and bourbon barrels. This was bottled in October 2011 from casks #6405, #4973, #8184 and #6437 at 59.1% ABV. This bottling was exclusive to the French market when bottled for La Maison du Whisky.

Karuizawa was founded in 1955 and was Japan’s smallest whisky distillery. In 1959, it became the first distillery to export whisky overseas. Sadly, Karuizawa distillery stopped production in 2000 and closed for good in 2011.
