Vodka

Vodka is a spirit which can be produced from just about any fermentable substance, though commonly used are grain (wheat, rye, spelt), and potatoes. Most vodka brands emphasise purity, and will often distil and filter the spirit several times. Some vodkas, such as Starka, are aged in casks, though this is not common.
