Ainslie's King's Legend Spring Cap Bottled 1950s-1960s 75cl
A bottle of Ainslie's King's Legend sealed with spring cap closure. This was produced and bottled by Ainslie & Heilbron Ltd., we estimate in the 1950s to 1960s.

James Ainslie & Co. purchased Brora distillery in 1896. In 1912, the company merged to form Ainslie, Baillie & Co. From there it became part of the growing Distiller’s Company in 1926 and became known as Ainslie & Heilbron (Disitllers) Ltd., It remained the licensed proprietor of Brora distillery (then known as Clynelish) into the 1980s. When the distillery closed Ainslie’s blend was discontinued and the name sold off.
