Description

This lot contains 12 pieces of correspondence from wine and spirit merchant Matthew Clark & Sons to its client William Pulling & Co.

This includes a letter to confirm shipment of wine samples, a price list circular, and an invoice, dated 1846, 1847 and 1848 respectively.

The remaining documents mostly concern the shipping of pipes and samples of Spanish red wine, as well as receipts of payment and bills of lading, dated 1903, 1905, 1907 and 1909.
