This lot contains seven pieces of correspondence from various Champagne suppliers to their client William Pulling & Co.:

One letter from Sevin, Grellet & Co. concerning the availability of the 'celebrated Madame Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin (Russia) Champagne' for 66/- per dozen in bond, as well as 'cheap port, sherry and rum', dated 26 April 1859.

Two letters from Adolphe Boursot, agent for Perrier-Jouet Champagne, acknowledging receipt of payment and confirming despatch, dated 18 February 1887 and 2 November 1907.

Two letters from Mentzendorff & Co., agents for Bollinger Champagne, concerning the 1899 and 1900 vintages, as well as one receipt of payment, dated 1904, 1906 and 1907.

One circular from sole agents J & R M'Cracken promoting Swiss Champagne from Bouvier Frères, Neuchatel, which is 'undoubtedly far superior to any French sparkling wine, at the same price'. This letter is not dated.
