Description

This lot contains five pieces of correspondence and price lists sent to and from wine and spirit merchant William Pulling & Co. These documents date from 1822 to 1903.

One letter from Offley Bros & Co. confirming an order received from William Pulling & Co. for a quantity of port pipes. This letter is dated 7 June 1822.

One letter from Cockburn, Brothers & Co. notifying its clients that future business will be conducted under the firm of Cockburn, Smithes & Co., whose circular is annexed. This is dated 1 February 1848.

One price list from C Huyssen, Wine Shipper, showing its prices for Ports, Sherries and Malagas. The stamp is post marked '93'.

One leaflet from William Pulling & Co. to its client advertising a 1900 Vintage Port the company has available, and at what price. This is dated April 1902.

One letter from Cock, Russell & Co. informing William Pulling & co. that its agent Mr A L Scott will be visiting next week, dated 13 May 1903.
