Taittinger 1971 Comtes De Champagne Rose 75cl
A bottle of 1971 Taittinger Comte de Champagne Rose, made from 100% Pinot Noir.
'Light orange-yellow, like a Cristal Rosé. Extreme finesse straight through.....with a joyful smile this Champagne opens its arms to the chosen few who find her. The best rosé I have come across. 98/100' Richard Juhlin, tasted in 2000.
Taittinger's 'Prestige Cuvée', Comtes de Champagne, is an homage to Lord Thibaut IV, who planted the first Chardonnay vines in the province in the 13th century.
