A magnum of 1986 Domaine de Nalys Châteauneuf du Pape from the Southern Rhône's most celebrated appellation.
Domaine de Nalys became one of the first producers in Châteauneuf to bottle and market their own wine in the 1950s under then-owner Philippe Duffay, and is currently owned by Domaine Guigal, who changed the name of the estate from Domaine de Nalys to Chateau de Nalys on purchasing it in 2017. The blend is typically around 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre, 4% Counoise and 1% Vacarese from vines with an average age of 45 years.
Around 50% of the fruit comes from the fabled La Crau vineyard.
