Description

A bottle of Maia 1953 Colheita Port, bottled by The Douro Wine Shippers and Growers Association in 1974.

Colheita is the Portuguese word for ‘harvest’ and signifies a vintage-dated tawny. The wine must be from a single year and aged for a minimum of seven years in wood before bottling. In practice, many are aged for considerably longer.
