Description

This lot contains twelve bottles of Château Ducru Beaucaillou 1998 from Bordeaux's Saint-Julien appellation.

Ducru Beaucaillou is a second growth, 75 hectare property whose vineyards are planted with 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot.

Please note, the original wooden case is available for customers wishing to arrange collection, or can be included with the lot for an additional delivery charge equivalent to a further twelve bottles.

This lot comes from the temperature-controlled cellar of media businessman and wine enthusiast Lord Evgeny Lebedev, where it has been kept since purchase direct from UK importers.

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Please note, the original wooden case is available for customers wishing to arrange collection, or can be included with the lot for an additional charge equivalent to a further twelve bottles.

Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
