Description

This lot contains twelve bottles of 1996 Château Beychevelle Grand Vin from Bordeaux's Saint-Julien appellation.

Beychevelle was classified as a 'Fourth Growth' in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, and its 88 hectares of vineyards are planted with 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.

This lot comes from the temperature-controlled cellar of media businessman and wine enthusiast Lord Evgeny Lebedev, where it has been kept since purchase direct from UK importers.
