Description
This lot contains three bottles of 2012 Gewürztraminer from Cantina Tramin in the Alto-Adige district of Northern Italy. The cantina has a membership of 310 winegrowers cultivating vines across 260 hectares of high altitude vineyards. The village of Tramin itself is believed to be the birthplace of the Traminer - or Gewürztraminer - grape variety. In 2011 Tramin attained the 'Double Stella' award from the Gambero Rosso wine guide for achieving the prestigious '3 Bicchieri' 20 times.
This lot comes from the temperature-controlled cellar of media businessman and wine enthusiast Lord Evgeny Lebedev, where they have been kept since purchase direct from UK importers.
