Burgundy Wine (Red) Auction

Bottle Auction

Description

This lot contains two magnum bottles of 2002 Pommard from Burgundy producer Paul Garaudet, whose estate is located between Volnay and Meursault. Farming 10.5 hectares of vines, the family estate produces around 50000 bottles per year.

Pommard is regarded as the most robust, structured red wine appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Beaune.

This lot comes from the temperature-controlled cellar of media businessman and wine enthusiast Lord Evgeny Lebedev, where they have been kept since purchase direct from UK importers.

This Pommard 2002 sold at our online auction for £170
