A bottle of 2001 Amarone della Valpolicella from producer Bertani, pioneers of this style of full-bodied, dry red wine made from partially dried Corvina and Rondinella grapes since 1958.

This was bottled in April 2008.

This lot comes from the temperature-controlled cellar of media businessman and wine enthusiast Lord Evgeny Lebedev, where it has been kept since purchase direct from UK importers.
