This lot contains three bottles of 2010 Condrieu La Doriane from winemaker E Guigal.
'The finest Condrieu I’ve ever tasted is unquestionably the 2010 Condrieu la Doriane. Possessing over the top richness and depth, as well as phenomenal purity and elegance, it offers to-die-for notes of white flowers, apricots, liquid rocks, caramelized citrus and toasted bread. Full-bodied, layered, multi-dimensional and with blockbuster length, Viognier just doesn’t get any better.100 points' Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, tasted 2016
This lot comes from the temperature-controlled cellar of media businessman and wine enthusiast Lord Evgeny Lebedev, where they have been kept since purchase direct from UK importers.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the labels.
Please note, received wisdom is that Condrieu is an unusual fine wine style generally best-consumed within four to eight years of release, though others enjoy them for their developed ‘secondary’ characteristics which come with additional bottle age. These bottles have been impeccably kept in a London cellar since purchase.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
