Description

A bottle of Muzzled Bear Jamaica Rum, bottled by Rigby & Evens Limited. We estimate this was bottled in the 1960s.

Rigby & Evens was a Bristol based wine and spirits shipper. The company name is said to have provided Paul McCartney with the surname for Eleanor Rigby, the eponymous character in the Beatles song, after he spotted the shop sign while visiting Bristol.
