Description

A bottle of The Macallan 1940 Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky. This was bottled in 1981 for the German market and imported by Pro Nobilitate Ebert, Hainzl & Co. This bottle has a handwritten label.

This is bottle number 308.

Only five vintages were bottled in this series, which has become known as The Macallan Handwritten Label: 1938, 1940, 1950, 1957 and an extremely rare 1973.
