A Hot Toddy Kettle made from brass with an amber handle. This was made by James Clews of Birmingham.

This type of kettle would be used to heat water for a hot toddy, a warm drink of whisky, honey and spices traditionally drunk to relieve the symptoms of cold and flu.

This measures approximately 20.5cm x 20cm
