A bottle of Jacquesson Cuvée 736, 66% of which is from the highly regarded 2008 vintage, with the balance made up of reserve wines. The blend is 53% Chardonnay, 29% Pinot Noir and 18% Pinot Meunier, and was fermented in oak casks prior to bottle fermentation. It was disgorged in October 2012.
'I had been dying to drink - not taste - Jacquesson's Brut Cuvée 736, following my visit to the domaine a few months ago. This bottle was every bit as great as I remembered. Built on a base of 2008, the 736 was brilliant, focused and chiseled from the very first taste. What a wine! 95/100' Antonio Galloni, Vinous, tasted 2013
