Description

A bottle of Mackinlay's Rare Old Highland Malt Whisky in a wooden presentation box.

This bottling is a replica of the whisky shipped to Antarctica in 1907 in preparation for Ernest Shackleton's Nimrod expedition. After almost a century buried in ice under the explorer's hut, the whisky was painstakingly recreated by Whyte & Mackay's Master Blender, Richard Paterson.

This Mackinlay's Rare Old Highland Malt sold at our online auction for £135
