A bottle of Echèzeaux Grand Cru 2009 from Domaine Gros Frère et Soeur.

'Dark cherries, plums, spices, menthol and licorice are some of the many notes that are woven together in the 2009 Grands-Échezeaux. I very much like the depth and intensity of the fruit. Today the 2009 appears to be holding much of its ultimate potential in reserve. Ideally the wine needs a few more years to flesh out.
