Description

A wooden case of six bottles of 2015 Barolo Bussia from Piedmont producer Prunotto.

Barolo Bussia DOCG is grown in an amphitheatre-shaped vineyard with a south westerly exposure in the Bussia Monforte d’Alba area of Barolo, and was produced for the first time at Prunotto as a single vineyard wine in 1961. This is traditionally aged in large oak barrels.

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. The wooden case was sealed in the original packaging on arrival at our offices. We opened it for the first time to inspect the contents.

Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
