Description

A bottle of Loch Dhu 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Known as the 'Black Whisky' due to its colour, this was produced by Diageo at Mannochmore distillery in the mid 1990s. The colour is said to derive from the charred-oak casks used to mature the spirit, although it is known that a quantity of spirit caramel was added to achieve this hue.

This whisky divided whisky drinkers when it was released, gaining a cult following in the US and Scandinavia. This bottling is now discontinued.
