Description

A litre bottle of Lagavulin 1996 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This was distilled in 1996, finished in ex-Pedro Ximinez sherry casks and bottled 2012 for the Distillers Edition series.

The Classic Malts of Scotland is a selection of six single malt whiskies first marketed together in 1988 by UDV (now owned by Diageo). Lagavulin represents the Islay region of Scotland.

Lagavulin distillery was founded on Islay's southern coast in 1816 and is famed for its rich, peaty whiskies.
