This bottle was donated by Cask Liquid Marketing for the COVID-19 Charity Auction in aid of The Drinks Trust to support drinks industry employees.

Description

A bottle of La Altena Tequila Ocho Extra Añejo. The agave was harvested in December 2008 from Rancho El Carrizal and cooked for 72 hours in stone ovens. It was then fermented in 3000 litre wooden vats and distilled at La Alteña distillery, before filling into 'fatigued' American whiskey barrels in July 2009. After 8 years and 8 months' maturation, it was bottled in November 2018.

This is bottle number 52; it was bottled from barrel number B-08.
