Description

A bottle of Cardhu 12 Year Old, a 100% pot still Scotch whisky distilled at Cardhu Distillery, Knockando, Scotland and bottled by John Walker & Sons Ltd. This was bottled for the Italian market and imported by Wax & Vitale, we estimate in the 1970s.

Cardhu was founded in 1824 as a seasonal farm distillery by former whisky smuggler, John Cumming. Later the distillery was sold to Johnnie Walker and Sons.

This Cardhu 12 Year Old sold at our online auction for £120
