A bottle of Pommard Cuvée Raymond Cyrot 2010, bottled for the 150th Hospices de Beaune auction by La Maison Louis Jadot.
Monsieur and Madame Cyrot-Chaudron left their vineyards to the Hospices de Beaune in 1979, and wines made from these vineyards are sold every year at the charitable wine auction, held each November. The Hospices itself is a former charitable alms house, situated in Beaune, and was founded in 1443 by Nicolas Rolin, chancellor of Burgundy, as a hospital for the poor.
