Description

A bottle of 2015 Castello Fonterutoli Chianti Classico Gran Selezione from Tuscany. This is a blend of 92% Sangiovese and 8% Malvasia Nera and Colorino, aged for 20 months in French oak barrels and bottled in December 2017.

Gran Selezione is a Chianti's 'top tier' classification created in 2013 with superior quality requirements to those needed for Riserva bottlings, and grapes harvested must come only from the winery's own vineyards.
