Description

A bottle of Tennent's Centenary Lager 1885-1985, produced to commemorate 100 years of lager brewing.

A note in the box reads: To appreciate this very strong lager at its best, it should be kept for a minimum of five years after which decanting may be necessary to avoid the natural sediment.

Please note, there is no ABV stated on the labels, but the back label states this is a 'strong lager'.

This Tennent's Centenary Lager 1885-1985 sold at our online auction for £7

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note damage to the box and wear to the labels.

Bottle conditioned beers age in the bottle just like wine. These beers continue to mature and develop deeper flavours.

Older bottles often contain sediment as well as residual yeast. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults.

Please note, the packaging shows signs of leakage in the past, but it doesn't appear to be leaking now.

Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing.

While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
