Description

A bottle of Lupé-Cholet Marc de Bourgogne from Burgundy. This was bottled for the Italian market, we estimate in the 1960s to 1970s.

Marc is a type of brandy produced by pressing the grape skins, seeds and pulp left over from wine production. This is then distilled and, in this case, aged in oak casks before bottling.
