Description

A 300cl Jeroboam of Rémy Martin Louis XIII Cognac, a blend of 1200 Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie aged between 40 and 100 years in oak tierçons. The Cognac is held in a numbered Cristal Sèvres decanter with stopper, based on an ancient metal carafe found at the site of the 1569 Battle of Jarnac.

The large wooden chest contains:

Four crystal Cognac glasses

A large metal pipette for serving, the same type used by Rémy Martin's cellar master for cask sampling

A book detailing the history of Rémy Martin and the Louis XIII expression

The top of the chest features a platform and glorifier for showcasing the decanter

This example has a specially made glass cube which encloses the display

This decanter is engraved with the words: The Betsy Family - A Century of Happiness

The decanter and stopper are numbered Y023.

The main wooden case measures approximately 64cm x 43cm x 48cm

The glass cube measures approximately 56cm x 43cm x 48cm

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear and scratches to the box. One corner of the metal glorifier is slightly bent.

Additional screws will be required to secure the glass cabinet on the top of the wooden chest, though it does sit safely without screws.
