A bottle of The Macallan 10 Year Old Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky, matured in sherry wood. The box includes a copy of Knots & Crosses by Ian Rankin, winner of the 1997 Gold Dagger Award. We estimate this was bottled in the late 1990s.
The Macallan Crime Writers' Association Gold and Silver Dagger Awards were presented for the best in crime fiction and non-fiction each year. The Macallan sponsored the award from 1995 to 2002. Two titles in Ian Rankin's Inspector Rebus series - Strip Jack and Knots & Crosses - were available free in limited edition packs of The Macallan 10 Year Old.
