A bottle Karuizawa 1977 from the Noh range, matured for 21 years in a single sherry butt and bottled in 2010 at 60.7% ABV.

This is one of 190 bottles; it was bottled from cask number 4592.

Karuizawa was founded in 1955 and was Japan’s smallest whisky distillery. In 1959, it became the first distillery to export whisky overseas. Sadly, Karuizawa distillery stopped production in 2000 and closed for good in 2011.
