Description

A bottle of Viña Bosconia 1976 Gran Reserva Rioja from one of Spain's most historic wine estates.

Bosconia is produced from fruit harvested from the 15 hectare El Bosque vineyard, with an average vine age of 40 years. The wine is around 80% Tempranillo , with the balance made up of Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano. Bosconia Gran Reserva spends between eight to ten years in barrel prior to bottling, and is often described as having an almost Burgundian character.
