Description

A bottle of Dewar's Ancestor blended Scotch whisky, sealed with a spring cap. This was bottled for the US market, and distributed by Schenley Import Corporation. We estimate this was bottled in the early 1950s.

The label carries a royal warrant by appointment to The Late King George VI.

Ancestor was one of the deluxe blends in Dewar's range, containing a fair proportion of long-aged whisky.

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note damage to the label and tax strip and wear to the capsule and ribbon. Note: the label has been secured with bands of clear adhesive tape by a previous owner.
