Description

A bottle of Hankey Bannister Scotch Whisky. This was bottled for the Italian market and imported by Dab Italian, we estimate in the 1990s.

Hankey Bannister was a spirits merchant established in London in 1757. It moved to Sackville Street in 1915, where it remained until the 1930s. Its whiskies were favoured by King George V, who awarded the company a royal warrant. In 1932, the company was purchased by Saccone & Speed, a company with historic links to the Crown and British military.

This Hankey Bannister sold at our online auction for £20
