Description

A bottle of The Balvenie Classic Scotch Whisky. This was bottled for the Italian market and imported by Spirit, we estimate in the 1980s.

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1889 by whisky pioneer William Grant and it has been in the same family for five generations. Today it is one of the few family owned distilleries in Scotland. The distillery uses local barley where possible and still maintains its own malting floor.
