Description

This lot contains three miniature bottles of Calva Club Vieux Pay D'Auge Calvados. These were imported to the Italian market by Soffiantino, we estimate in the 1960s to 1970s.

The more restrictive AOC Calvados Pays d'Auge area is limited to the east end of the département of Calvados and a few adjoining districts, with additional requirements being that the cider base must have a minimum of six week fermentation, followed by double distillation in an alembic pot still, and at least two years' maturation in oak barrels.
