A bottle of Aberlour A'bunadh Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, matured in a Spanish oloroso sherry butt and bottled at 59.9% ABV.

This bottle is from Batch Number 6.

A'bunadh means 'of the origin' in Gaelic.

Aberlour distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming. It is located at the confluence of the rivers Spey and Lour and its water source is St Drostan's Well. When journalist and distilling historian Alfred Barnard visited the distillery in the 1880s he described it as 'the perfect modern distillery'. Today, Aberlour is owned by Chivas Brothers.
