Description

A bottle of Château d'Aydie Marc de Madiran. We estimate this was bottled in the 1990s.

Marc is a type of brandy produced by pressing the grape skins, seeds and pulp left over from wine production. This is then distilled and aged in oak casks before bottling. Madiran is an appellation in south west France known for its assertive red and aromatic white wines.
