Description

A bottle of Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve Non-Vintage Champagne. This bottle was laid down in Charles Heidsieck's cellars (mis en cave) in 1994 and aged for a minimum of three years.

The short-lived Mise En Cave wines, a labour of love of late chef de cave Charles Thibault, were essentially vintage dated Non Vintage Champagnes, the idea being to demonstrate the benefit of additional time on lees and in the cellar of quality Non-Vintage blends.
