Description

A bottle of 1999 Bollinger La Grande Année, a blend of 63% Pinot Noir and 37% Chardonnay, harvested from 82% Grand Cru vineyards and 18% Premier Cru vineyards.

The label carries a royal warrant by appointment to H M Queen Elizabeth II.

'This is a phenomenal Champagne that I enjoyed from magnum with intense aromas of crème brûlée, dried apple, dried apricot and pear. Some tropical fruit but always subtle. Full-bodied, dense and layered with beautiful fruits and a long, long finish. Limestone and white pepper aftertaste. A joy to taste. 98 points' James Suckling
