A bottle of Balvenie 15 Year Old Single Barrel Malt Scotch Whisky. This was distilled on 14 October 1988, matured in a single cask and bottled on 31 October 2003.

This is bottle number 89; it was bottled from cask number 5700.

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1889 by whisky pioneer William Grant and it has been in the same family for five generations. Today it is one of the few family owned distilleries in Scotland. The distillery uses local barley where possible and still maintains its own malting floor.
