Description

Two bottles of Pigaro Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico 2000 Single Vineyard Pigaro, produced and bottled by Fraspe Pedemonte, Italy.

Amarone is a classic Italian red wine style, famous for its 'appassimento' winemaking technique, whereby grapes are dried for 4 months to concentrate their aromas and flavours prior to fermentation. The wine is aged for 3 years in oak barrels and minimum of 6 months in bottle prior to release.
