Description

A bottle of Balvenie 8 Year Old Pure Malt Whisky, presented in a triangular green bottle with a leathery label. We estimate this was bottled in the 1970s.

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1889 by whisky pioneer William Grant and it has been in the same family for five generations. Today it is one of the few family owned distilleries in Scotland. The distillery uses local barley where possible and still maintains its own malting floor.
