This lot contains four miniature bottles of blended Scotch whisky. We estimate these were bottled in the 1960s to 1970s:
1 x Albion's Finest Old Scotch Whisky produced by Scottish Albion Blending Co., the size is incorrectly stated on the label, 40% ABV
1 x Braemar Specially Blended Scotch whisky bottled and shipped by Whitbread & Co. Ltd and imported to Italy, 3.75cl, 43% ABV
1 x Clann Albhains Choice is Three Fingers De Luxe produced in Scotland by James G Allan & Sons, no size stated, 43% ABV
1 x Metropolitan Scotch Whisky distilled, blended and aged in Scotland by Metropolitan Scotch Whisky Blenders, no size or ABV stated
This lot comes from the extensive collection of a Merseyside collector who began his hobby with bottles bought for guests as digestifs at private dinner parties in the early 1970s. His interest led to him advertising in the UK national newspapers, and buying and selling bottles as far afield as Australia, America and Ireland, with his last significant addition being a collection he purchased from Stoke On Trent in 1984.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the labels.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
