1 x James Foxe Imported Canadian whisky distilled, aged, blended and bottled under supervision of the Canadian Government by Schenley, 4.7cl, no ABV stated
1 x Royal Canadian Extra Quality distilled, aged, blended and bottled under supervision of the Canadian Government by Jas Barclay & Co. 1 x Park & Tilford Royal Command 8 & 18 years Canadian whisky. The Canadian tax strip reads 1969. This indicates that the youngest whisky in the bottle was distilled in 1969. 4.5cl, 40% ABV
This lot comes from the extensive collection of a Merseyside collector who began his hobby with bottles bought for guests as digestifs at private dinner parties in the early 1970s. His interest led to him advertising in the UK national newspapers, and buying and selling bottles as far afield as Australia, America and Ireland, with his last significant addition being a collection he purchased from Stoke On Trent in 1984.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the labels and tax strips. Note wear to the capsule of Royal Command.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
